I'm not sure if this is a strong enough description of this onside attempt. I LOVED the call. The execution was horrible. I'm hoping and assuming that the only reason Arceo is kicking this year is to redshirt Netten and have him for the next four years.

LOL, yes. Fine call, gutsy call. My buddy and I were not even upset, just laughing at the absuridity of the execution. Reminded me of the 2 point conversion vs Nebby.

Rhoads said in the post-game interview that a play like this gets in the opponent's head even if it doesn't work.

I think it could of got in our teams head also . Thank God they fumbled. I think our kicker just needs to focus on making his extra points. Another call I thought was stupid is when BU got caught on a hold on 2nd and 10. Rhoads declines the pentaly leaving them in field goal range. Did the same thing with TCU and they picked up the 1st down.

I love the pass kick too, but I think it is illegal cause of new rule instituted this offseason. Probably cause ISU was too good at it :jimlad:.

It's legal but if it bounces it can now be fair caught. Mahoney, I believe kicked it without driving it into the ground.

With Baylor I will take 3rd and 10 and concede the FG over 2nd and twenty. TCU is different but Baylor is so explosive and has Terrance Williams.

CPR did it to try to steal away a possession from Baylor. They're going to move the ball on most teams with those receivers. He trusted our D to get it back.

From what I thought it is only illegal if the other team calls fair catch or at least is attempting to catch it. Maybe if we fool them is is still ok to just catch it?
