dang it, would like to have Wednesday back. All we can do is hope that was a learning experience for the guys and the team effort we had today continues the rest of the way.

Yes. The Texas Tech game still stings!! Iowa State still didn't play a great game. But we won.

Tech loss and K-State win cancel each other out in my book. Now, let's use this as momentum into our next games.

They need a road win against a team they're not favored against to make up for it in my book. That road resume is ugly right now.

Evened things out a bit.

Although if ISU hadn't blown the TT game, we'd be in no worse than tie for 2nd after today.

And we'd be close to ranked knocking off 11 in the country. It's funny - they didn't feel like 11 in the country. Is K State over-ranked or ISU under-ranked? Maybe a little of both.

You know Kansas is eyeing that Hilton game on their schedule like "uh oh."

K-State is probably somewhere around the 40th best team in the country, and ISU is right around there as well.

After the last games, both men and women, I was so depressed that I couldn't make a post. Now I am half way back to being my old happy go-lucky self, after winning that game. Lucious was big in that game. Obviously Clyburn was also playing extremely well along with Niang. I felt the refs gave them every possible break. Kansas State still couldn't cash in. I have never seen such a whining head coach, he makes you hate him just by looking at his constant look of disbelief at the refs. If I were a ref, I would want to punch him in the face by the end of the game.

That is a poor assessment. K-State is a good team and so is ISU. We have weaknesses, and K-State is put together pretty well to exploit those weaknesses. But 40th, that isn't even close.
