To me, that's a big thing. When Melvin sits, we miss out on a lot. Glad to see us win a game without him playing a lot of minutes.
Why do I keep hearing ISU only team in Big 12 to win at home, Texas won at home, they beat TCU tonite!!
looks like it moved to 37. Oklahoma's is 16, so beating them will have ISU in top 40.
But does that really count? I think that people were thinking it was a scrimmage.
That doesn't point to the conference being good. Heck....the MAC could have a cluster of teams with those records and I wouldn't be calling them good. Big 12 has good balance....just like we did in FB.
Definitely. Clyburn has been decent most of the year, but I'll go out on a limb and say he's worked with Niang on mechanics. He looked confident and smooth tonight. Night and day since the KSU game.
How much will OU's drop w/ home loss to KSU (currently 33rd)?
I assume not too much, I just don't track the RPI fluctuation closely game-to-game for individual teams.
I don't get the RPI and "Bracketology" stuff. Lunardi had us as an 11 seed before the game tonight. That doesn't mean anything. There are still 10 games + B12 tournament left. Why should we pay any attention to this stuff right now? We have 3 top 50 wins right now. But if BYU or Baylor or KSU go in the toilet to finish the year, they won't be top 50 wins any more. I just think it is pointless.

Keeping Iowa under 100 (now 90) and Tech under 200 (199) wouldn't hurt anything either.
Exactly, good balance, not all that great of conference this year. Wouldn't be shocking to still get 5-6 in the NCAA there just might be a 3-4 teams receiving seeding in the 8-11 range.
Eric just pointed out that if things had gone just a little bit different, Iowa State could easily be in first place in the conference right now. So true. Man, that is encouraging and frustrating.
The hawks are due for a run. Their schedule was very front loaded. They get to play Nebby twice, NW, and PSU again.
