I was cruising the ESPN boards today, which suck if you didn't already know (big s/o to CW and crew), and a topic was brought up that Brent Musberger would be announcing the KU game next week. There were a lot of people over there that seemed surprised by that. I thought that Musberger was sort of "normal" announcer for Big Monday games, no?

I don't was this to become a "Better him than Dukie Vitale" or anything, just honestly curious... TIA

Can't stand either, but Dickie V is even less awful than Musberger. May as well just start out the game on mute with John Walters on, it usually takes me a while of listening before I get disgusted.

The ones on ESPN, yes, and Fraschilla does Color. They talked about it on the broadcast last night...it will be Musbergers first game inside Hilton. Fraschilla told Musberger he would take him to Hickory Park or Wallabys.

I think Fran legit loves Ames/Hilton, which is kind of awesome. I've never really paid attention to Musberger as an "analyst" for BB, but I don't really care for him in FB so it's probably more of the same.
