Usually watch all ISU games with my dog lying on the floor in front of the couch. He JUST got over to his spot now. And then he farted. So, not sure if this is a good sign or a bad one.

I guess maybe it's his way of voicing his displeasure with our defense in teh first half.

Don't know but one thing is for damn sure - if ISU pulls this one out I will buy your dog all the beans and chili he could ever eat for game days.

You can't expect your offense to be as good on the road as at home. On top of that our defense is poor so it makes it difficult to win on the road with that recipe.

Regular Dog Chow and an occasional cheese treat does it. If I have to suffer through it but ISU wins, I'm cool with it.

Did Niang get any fouls? I don't remember. But I agree - have him take some more stuff in the paint so we can at least suck in their D.

I don't think so. We do seem in good shape in that regard. Hopefully it allows us to be way more aggressive than we have been.

Have to admit, despite similarly heartbreaking losses for both teams, there's definitely a difference between causing the loss yourself and having one stolen, psychologically speaking.

I am really surprised that ISU is so far behind here. But what can you do? They are hot as they have been all season and ISU is about as cold as they've been all season. Lots of game left.

No wonder kids love playing for Fred.... you aren't required to play defense, and you can just jack up 3's all game long on the offensive end. Oh, and you're head coach never comes down on you or takes you out of the game for screwing up either.

Definitely a player's coach. That's for sure.

Do you go to practices? Do you sit right behind the bench every game to hear what Fred says to the players?

It's amazing how bad some of you overreact to things. Clonedude, would you rather have a different coach? Should Fred be coaching jr high basketball like you said earlier this season? ISU can't play a perfect game every time. Maybe they'll finally steal one like they've had so many stolen from them this year. Maybe they won't. Either way, it's just a game. Relax a little.
