Central Iowa had been getting dumped on for the last hour. Lots of rain gauges are over 2". Still raining heavily. Glad it's not snow...
There are going to be a LOT of basements water logged. Soil saturation is already maxed out without torrential downpours.

Around 2" so far in CR and it's been steady hard rain for the past hour now. Streets are ponding badly on the SE side.

Woke up with the sub pump running. 2 inches so far but it looks like we might be done for awhile in less than an hour

Just under 3 inches here in Nevada in like 1.5 hours with some more coming according to radar. Tired of this ****.

I get around
Saw some pics on FB with a lot of water in the lots around Cy Town area

The flooded area nearest the camera is the designated storm water detention area as shown on the master plan. It appears as though it worked quite well.

It’s been raining on us up here in NC Iowa for 2 years now. We are more confused when it doesn’t rain.

Just looked at radar and, yup, more heading your way again. It's like the radar is the same picture every day or so.

Will have to give my farmer buddy east of Clarion call.
