I am new Cyclone fan from Kansas City, been following the message boards since Clay Custer Committed. I want you guys to know you have an outstanding player coming to Ames. Usually you guys are on top of everything but its been a couple days and nobody has commented on this so I thought I would make my first post.

Custer was named Second Team Junior Class All-American by MaxPreps along with Reid Travis last week.

Also on that list is Karl Towns, Jr. who will be a name everyone hears a lot over the next year (Karl Towns - Yahoo! Sports) so he is with some pretty good company. I am also very excited to see Custer in cardinal and gold! Congratulations, Clayton!

They must have updated it. It now shows him as #103rd nationally (#120 composite), #25 for point guards (29th composite), and an ISU commit. Also #1/#2 in KS.

You missed something. But I did it once to yank his chain. New guy came in with some new info right on nallens stompin grounds

Agreed, no.
Next season, if he works on his driving skills, I could see it. His outside game is improved, his inside game is great for his size and his rebounding it top notch for his size.

Terrible article. How do you call that an outlook when it only talks about 2 players? And what ISU faithful are writing next season off? I'm certainly not.
