You can't have a negative assist/turnover ratio without having either less than zero assists or less than zero turnovers...

Yep, 3 in two classes, plus Okoro who was just outside. Carter shot under 40% from the floor, had a negative assist/TO ratio. He put up points because he got a lot of shots on a bad team.

So did he have negative assists or turnovers? One would be really bad and one would be really good.

Fred, Coach K, Donnovan, Buzz, Chris Mack, Cronnin >>>>>>>>> CyJack13

Saying you don't want proven players that Florida, Duke, Cinci, Marquette and Xavier are recruiting is a great way to show how much of a moron you are.

I said I thought Maurice Jones wasn't a good signing either and got the same typical responses, how did that work out? With Duke and Florida, Carter would be going there in a back up role behind elite freshman, Hill for Florida and probably Tyus Jones for Duke. Cincinnati and Marquette both are lacking young backcourt depth. If he can play next year, then I don't think it would be a bad get. If he has to sit out a year, then we're bringing in Custer behind a sophomore Morris and junior Carter. That's a lot of depth and scholarships tied up at one spot.

You're not helping your case.

First, Jones would have been a great asset had he been cleared to play and since we didn't lose a scholarship with him, it made no difference that we took a chance on him.

Secondly, these Jones and Carter don't equate because Jones had basically been kicked out of school, whereas Carter is transferring for perfectly legitimate reasons.

Thirdly, we know that Fred will always want several talented guards available to play.

We have different definitions of awesome.

We can argue about the definition of the word "awesome", but a better question is what level of production (in the Big East mind you) do you think is appropriate for us to recruit with transfers?

Take care of the ball, get to the rim, find the shooters.

If Carter does that, he'd be more than welcome.

2 and 3 he already does well. 2 is his biggest strength actually. He struggled when I saw him last year taking care of the ball but I imagine that has to do with being one of the only good players on a bad team as a sophomore.

So maybe we didn't express too much interest if Buffalo made the cut but not us.

Obviously Fred is just losing his touch with transfers since there isn't any possible way we didn't want this kid according to all the geniuses on here.

Well, his AAU coach did say ISU contacted him about Carter so not sure who you are directing that to.

Pretty sure we have our transfer locked in for the year. Didn't one just visit and now somebody is transferring? Doesn't take a braniac to read the tea leaves.
