Ya Russell to my understanding has always been more of a situational lefty matchup guy. At some point though the cupboard is bare on the cubs bullpen to the point where you leave guys out in situations that aren't ideal. Just comes with not having talent.

Another blown save today.

Meh, it was Gregg. He has only had 2 blown saves this year, althogh both of them have came in the past week or so. Overall, the bullpen did an excellent job today knowing their starter was not going to be allowed to throw much more then 60 pitches, and only ended up going 4 innings.

Look on the bright side, every blown save could help the Cubs get a higher draft pick next year.

I'm a Brewers fan and I can sympathize with you Cubs fans. Your bullpen definitely needs fixing just like the Crew's starting pitching needs major fixing. I was noticing on ESPN's stats that the Cubs rank next to last (just ahead of the Phillies) in regards to relief pitching. Milwaukee ranks dead last in starting pitching (having given up 86 home runs - compared to 63 for the Cubs starters). Last year the relief pitching was the Crew's achilles heel, now it is the poor starting pitching (except for Lohse) and fielding (except for Gomez & Segura).
