I go to Vegas at least twice a year and I love it. But outside of the strip it's dirty and run down. I would absolutely hate living in Vegas. I doubt he's considering them at all other than to keep the locals happy. I'm actually a little worried that he hates it so much that he wants to go back home to Minnesota and play there.

Combined with his last response, this makes me feel good about him wanting to leave but not get too far away from the fam (which is understandable) I think we are a top 3 option regardless of what the media thinks

This. I mean it would take about 1,000 words to say how much sense it makes for him to come here. If he brings J/RT with him we would be absolutely stacked for 2014. That would be a NC caliber team.

I think some people on this site get caught up with the media's predictions of where Rashad Vaughn will end up. They all think Iowa State is the red-headed step child, but we're not. Vaughn and Hoiberg have something great together. There's not another coach that Vaughn talks about as much as The Mayor. We are sitting pretty with him.

Iowa State has had multiple visits from him as well, I do believe, why would he come back for a visit a 2nd time if he wasn't interested the after 1st time....

If we're not getting an official visit, how in the hell would we think we have a chance?

Last summer I was told by a high level D1 Coach that Tyus would be going to Duke. Looks like that will indeed be the case.

Rashad visiting for the Iowa football game is perfect. The atmosphere for that game is going to be absolutely electric and he will see just how much we love our Cyclones. That's why we're FANATICS!
