Re: Rashad Vaughn

RV is a show guy. He likes attention. We made multiple avatars. Why do you think he moved out of Minnesota and went to Vegas? Bring the spotlight.

You know, no one here (I assume) actually knows the guy. On the off chance he does come across this thread, the avatars are one thing, but quotes like this one don't exactlt come across very positively, to say the least. At least they'd annoy me.

Edit: not trying to be harsh. But saying negative things about a recruit is prob bad idea.

I'm going with 92.4% chance he knows about this thread

Re: Rashad Vaughn

That would make for one helluva pregame show. Crowd would be Kansas game insane if that happened.

Not to be a negative Nancy, but I imagine most regular fans don't follow recruiting enough for the crowd to go "Kansas game insane." Maybe the cyclone fanatics in the crowd would go wild.

How is that negative? Most big-time players like the attention and recognition, aka: SHOW. Heck, his twitter handle is even @showtimemr. The half-court before Michigan game thing is awesome, BTW.

Hey, you are looking at this all wrong. Being the guy in the spotlight is good. More people that want to bring the show is good for leadership. Many teams we know lack people who do not want to take the final shot. Royce White certainly brought the show and the spotlight.

With a recruit this big, they will either know or find out quick enough through others around them. We had chants for him last year when he visited, the hype only builds.

I don't think you meant anything negatively. My post was more a response to a bunch of posts I've read on here lately, not just yours. My point is just that there have been some claims in this thread, that if about me, I would find pretty obnoxious coming from complete strangers. Who knows how RV would see it, but being less than impressed is definitely a possibility. Just my $0.02.

Actually the crowd impressed him at Baylor game. He mentioned it in interviews. I hope students plan same type of things. Signs, chants, etc.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Him, Diallo, Ellenson, and Yakwe are all committing at the same time. These things take time.

*Note, this is a guess and no sources.
Good point, is a parade enough? Maybe there should be a week or month long party similar to VEISHEA, but better and more centered around basketball. Maybe we could call it March Madness? IDK, just spit-balling ideas here.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

The good news is when a poster is placed on "ignore," zero details are displayed about the poster, including, drumroll please... the avatar!

CloneinWDSM has not ruined anything on my screen. Fellow Fanatics, I suggest you follow my simple plan for preventing him from carrying out his diabolical plans of Rashad Vaughn disruption.

Days from now, after he has been reduced to a gibbering ball of mush because he has been ignored by every CF poster, and he asks us to un-ignore him, we will cry out in unison "NO NO NO NOT TODAY!!"

No, good sir, a ritual shunning is exactly what is called for here. A SHUNNING, I SAY.
