I keep saying this and I still believe it... if Jones watches our games, he won't commit here. Our RBs don't get the ball
I'd be ecstatic to get Jones, but do not see it happening. I think he stays committed. I don't know why when your head coach has seizures all the time. Who knows how long he will be around.
I may eat my words on this, but I am betting that changes when the young guys on the line get older.
My cousin goes to Carmel with Smith and is a friend. Says Mich St. all the way. ISU got brought up because my cuz has a cross country offer from us and thought it would be cool to come here with him but he is all Sparty.
Man, you know it's hard to recruit DLine when 3 stars are signing with Texas, doesn't leave much for us.
I like our backs, but I think Jones has something none of them do. Size,to go with the breakaway speed.
The offensive line will be better. He'd get the ball aplenty--and with those wide receivers to take the pressure off...

I think we all need to keep an eye on Martinez Syria this season in regards to this. He is just a little bigger than Jones and according to their 40 times he is a little faster (4.55 vs 4.69). Check out some of his highlights so far

Not saying he is as good or better than Jeff Jones but being able to run the ball like he does in such a big Texas HS conference is promising in my opinion. It would be nice to have both of them though

Except that Mister is looking into other schools and says if they don't start winning he could go elsewhere.
Jones is not going to commit to a two win team with the options he has. And watching ISU do absolutely nothing with their RBs.
I post a link refuting that and you still come back with nothing. Lots of recruits still talk to other schools.
Actually it doesn't refute that it just says his mom wants him to go ISU and his dad isn't pushing him anywhere. That's not exactly refuting him saying his commitment is contingent on ISU winning
