USA! USA!
What if it turns out to be a player or trainer?

Hawk fans sure love using the term "butthurt." That is all I ever hear them say. They must have limited vocabularies.

Indeed. You've posted in it several times. Carry on. Maybe you can sink it to the level of a Hawk board if you keep trying your very hardest.

Don't waste your time with em' ... He (like so many over there) .. Is truly a big Iowa "dummy" in the best sense of the word.

So it was a robbery where no one knows who did it. Could have been someone getting past security, or it just as easily could have been someone who was granted locker room access by Iowa.

Iowa State's reaction was to accept responsibility anyways by making a public announcement and offering to compensate Iowa for the total value stolen.

Iowa's reacted by using this opportunity to publicly embarrass ISU and hurt their reputation within the Big 12.

Now who is the "little brother" in this relationship?

If Pollard or anyone in the AD department called schools to warn them about such and such school having bad security I would be embarrassed. This is what 4 year olds do.

You don't think he'd get a shot in at Iowa if possible? He did put up a billboard outside of Cedar Rapids just to get under their skin, which could be considered childish as well...

With the way Iowa State is handling this, I can't believe that that ****** would write the letter he wrote. I could see if ISU said, "Not our problem," but, that's not what they are doing. And considering this is a one time incident, he really had no business sending out that letter to other schools. I can't wait to find out who really did this robbery, because I have checked before, you don't just stroll into the locker rooms. If it was an oversight on ISU's part, it seems they are doing all they can to remedy the situation.

I don't think he would publicly defame the University of Iowa, no. As I said in my above post, random people just aren't allowed to stroll locker rooms. This could just have easily been someone on the Iowa staff. It's not like football players today are known for their high moral status.

He didn't put up a billboard in CR to get under anyones skin. Those of us in this part of the state asked for something that DSM routinely gets ...

I agree, lots of ISU fans here in Cedar Rapids, maybe he was helping us out! Pollard isn't petty enough to do something like send a letter to the B1G members about something like this.

No, it's bush league. It means Iowa doesn't "trust" ISU to take the issue seriously, and also wants to portray us poorly in our conference. If I were JP, this would damage the ISU-Iowa relationship...

If you want to get even with the hoks just tell em that we will only play football(vs eiu) in JTS and never play in Kinnick...That will get their attention.....

I don't have a problem with this. Don't put yourself in situations to be embarrassed and live up to expectations.

Haha ohh come on now... Maybe Pollard decided to put up a billboard in Cedar Rapids to "please" Eastern Iowa Cyclone fans. However you can not seriously tell me he didn't get at least a little bit of a kick out of putting the slogan "It's a Cyclone State" on a billboard placed directly in the U of I's stomping grounds.

There is so much bias in this thread it's comical. If the roles were reversed there's just no way Pollard would do something like this! He has too much class! Haha ya okay... you guys talk about Pollard like he's your Grandfather and you know him so well. He is the same guy who got ejected from his son's high school basketball game for criticizing the refs. I'm not berating him for that as I've been known to raise my voice during my little brothers high school games, but it's not like Pollard is an angel. Take off the blinders. You can say whatever you want to say to make yourselves feel better, but if the roles were reversed I guarantee you 99% of the Cy fans whining is this thread would find it hilarious that ISU took a jab at Iowa. Don't be so foolish. At least there are a few posters in here with the ability to have some perspective. Iowa is trolling the Clones hard on this one.

not the same thing .... glad it bothered you so much. IIRC the population of ISU grads versus UI grads in Linn County favors ISU.

Hey, fair is fair. I know after Vodka_Samm jumped on the field during that Iowa game, I personally called the appropriate authorities at Western Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Wisconsin and Michigan and told them to be on the lookout for marauding bands of rampaging skanks at Kinnick Stadium.

You don't talk that way about Vodka_Samm. You better watch yourself.

This doesn't have anything to do with JP being some kind of angel, I expect 99% of athletic departments to handle it with more maturity and class than Iowa has. This is what I expect out of hawk trolls or someone in the media like Miller.

PS - I like how you think perspective is just agreeing with your viewpoint.
