Yup, MWC dropped the ball in the tourney. Especially that UNM loss.

However, New Mexico did go into Cincy and beat a top 10 team at the time in their own building...(the same team you lost to on neutral court.)

Colorado St. beat former Big 12 Missouri in the first round...
San Diego St. beat Oklahoma by 15 in the first round.
We beat you by 12 with 2 freshman, 2 transfers and 3rd string center.

I don't get this Big 12 superior talk. You have Kansas...which puts you over the top. Baylor was good with vegas kid Jackson. Other than that I don't see many teams that would be favorites or even top 3 in the MWC.

In fact, since 2010, Big 12 is 14-19 vs MWC teams.

Oh my goodness. Maybe last year the the MWC was on par, but over the course of the last 15 years, or even longer, forget about it, the better basketball was played in the Big 12. It is not even close on that either. The Big 12 spent many years as the RPI's second best conference by seasons end, that was a heck of a run. UNLV won against ISU last year, but it was a home game and they played ISU before Iowa State started to gel, which wasn't until after January. By March ISU was better, they went into Dayton and would would have beat the second seeded Buckeyes in the their back yard if it were not for a crap call, I doubt UNLV could have done that. Or beat a 7 seed by 27 points like ISU did as well.

And your stat about head to head competition since 2010, do you have a link? I want to see what teams have played. Sometimes that stat is misleading because it could be bottom teams from one league playing the majority of the matchups.

The big12 has 105 games televised MWC has 31. Iowa State has 16 games on the espn family of networks with 2 being only available online. UNLV has 5 games with 3 only available online.

You seem lost.
BCS runs the tv contracts. I already said Big 12 FB> MWC FB by far.

Glad you get good exposure. Should really help you out on your recruitment of Vaughn....like it did Ohio St and Indiana for Goodluck Okonoboh.

Exposure will get better. This is the first year with the ESPN contract and they don't even have first bid rights...CBS does.

are you lost? your friend posted that he didnt know the details so i provided them.

and we are all really happy for you that you landed some kid over two other schools. maybe you should brag about it on their message boards. exposure will not get better. that is what it is 16 games vs 5. if you like i can like you both schools schedules and you can see for yourself.

I'm not doubting the schedules for tv. I'm stating Big 12 basketball is getting exposure because of Big 12 football....

MWC basketball is getting the exposure it is because of bad MWC football....

If that is your point then okay then.

The point of my original coming in here was the bashing of the MWC. Why play in the MWC when you can play in the 'almighty Big 12.'

MWC and Big 12 basketball wise aren't so different. Take Kansas and this year OSU out and the conference isn't so good.

Remove the top two teams from the MWC and they aren't much better than the Missouri valley.

Why doesn't UNLV come play a game in Hilton, then we will see who is the better team. After all your game against ISU last year was practically a home game for you.
