I agree with playing it conservative initially but after ripping off a couple big runs you should at least try to get a field goal.
You mean getting outplayed and getting a couple lucky breaks?Right where we want to be.
No need to take risks there. I agree with the conservative strategy there. We get the ball to start the 2nd half, no reason to risk giving them momentum on a mistake.
The box score is ugly.
TTU total yardage: 354
ISU total yardage: 139
D has to play better in the 2nd half. This is unsustainable.

I really get tired of not going for it before halftime. I understand not wanting to throw an interception, but what kind of message does it send to the offense when the head coach basically says you are more likely to turn the ball over than score?
I would have liked to see us take a shot there, but a good half after a shaky start. I'll take it.

ISU is 1-3, play to win, not to lose. show some confidence in Messingham to get some points.I hate this sitting on the ball crap. We will always be a also ran playing this way. Learned nothing from last week.
If we weren't getting the ball to start the 2nd half then I would agree, but I think that was the intelligent route to take in this situation.
