I would like to know if any of those 6 committed running backs have the balance, burst of speed through the hole, or strength of Kwaw-Mensah. I really would.
trust me i completely agree, i think if we let this kid go anywhere else it will be a big mistake.

Would like to see Ames go up against one of the elite defenses in the state like Cedar Rapids Xavier in the state title game. Xavier has a DE that is an Iowa commit. Would show how good Kwaw-Mensah really is; hopefully he would earn an offer.

There might be a reason the kid doesnt have any offers, if you think about it...

Well i think it's safe to say Ames will be 4-A champs. That's just crazy yardage!

Valley is much better and will be tough Friday. Dowling is damn good as well. If Ames can get thru the West Des Moines team gauntlet, then yes I think they can beat any team in the East.

So who does Ames play next? Valley?
Yes. Valley is certainly a level above Urbandale, though. They will try to run the ball down Ames' throat, and may be able to do it. But Ames has a great QB, great receiver, and of course Kwaw-Mensah.

Would be a great candidate for a grey shirt.

Why, so another school can come into Ames and offer him a scholarship? If you're going to take a chance on a kid, why not one that obviously has some talent, won't get homesick and leave, and should never have any academic problems. No offense to Albert Gary, but watch him return a kickoff. If he is currently our best option there, Kwah Mensah is better than a lot of guys currently on scholarship.

Always funny how the DSM-area guys are so sure that the West champion will beat any team in the East :spinny:

Saw Valley won their game 49-0. Should be a good game.

They got Sioux City East....somehow Ames got Urbandale 2nd round...tough draw, but wasn't too hard for them after the 1st half.
