At the KANSAS game we all wear an officals zebra top and bring a yellow flag.
When we see holding, pass interference, piling on a Qb after a slide, unsportsmen like conduct after a play, we all satnd up in our Zebra shirts and wave our flags.
Why?
To show the team we support them.
To point out the officals missed a call (often).
To show the BIG 12 we are getting screwed.
CPR can't complain again without a steep fine.
I sit in the south endzone if we can get enough people to demonstrate could be on TV,
have alot of fun with it, make a peaceful but dramatic statement to the big 12 we have had enough, there officals are a JOKE.

Going to the KANSAS game, loyal son forever ture.

How about we all grow gray mustaches and have a look like we haven't shaved in a few days with bags under our eyes and throw resumes on the field? How about that??

Lol this would be hilarious. As the commentator for the TCU game said, the Iowa State fan base can truly be upset with how officiating has gone against them this year.

However, we'll just look bad if we are needing to do this against Kansas. I'd prefer to do it against a team like Oklahoma next year.

For a minute I thought I thought you were talking about when KU visits Hilton. Might work there too.

Alternating Black and white ISU t-shirts (if possible) all with yellow hankies. This would be a great way to send out the Seniors and the 2013 team on Senior day - last game for them in Jack Trice. Don't think that would fire them up??

Man, I would LOVE, I mean LOVE to see this and have someone keeping score with penalties assessed and total yards - maybe even scoring differential. Would totally shame and mock the Big Texas refs....you know Pollard wouldn't like it and the B12 wouldn't like it. So you should do it.

A successful student led protest of the refs would make the game watchable to the end regardless of score. And would probably end up on Sportscenter.

Oh, yes, build it and they will come.

Don't forget to talk in a Texas accent like the refs do.

we have bigger problems then the Zebras

1. It's not a problem that our opponents are allowed to run out of bounds, come back in bounds, try to make a catch, bobble the ball, have it called a catch live, then have the replay official confirm that it's ok to run out of bounds then bobble the catch and still have it be a catch?

2. It's not a problem that a Kansas player with 4 fouls makes an intentional foul late in a very close huge game, then the official gives the foul to another player who is ten feet away. Then the player who should have fouled out makes significant contributions in an overtime win?

3. It's not a problem that Kansas can score 3 pointers during dead balls?

These are three examples of blown or fixed officiating that there is absolutely ZERO excuse for, those mistakes are either game fixing or grounds for some permanent dismissals. I didn't bring up Texas because the biggest call of that game did have some gray areas, although other calls in the game clearly slanted Texas way as well. The team has a lot to work on and the offense is just bad now, but it's not like the two are mutually exclusive. Our offense is horrible and our opponents are being aided by HUGE calls that grant them points they did not earn.

So it's the refs fault that you dont understand the rules?

By all means explain, I'd love to hear a different version of why it was a catch and not be mad about it.
There was a press release explaining the rules. If a player is forced out of bounds (yes, obviously this is questionable, but that was the call they made) he is not required to establish himself back in bounds before touching the ball. It is allowed under the rules for a player to jump in from out of bounds and catch the ball, so long as he lands in bounds. It's a stupid rule, imo. But it is in the books.

To be honest I didn't have the best video quality with a pirate stream. It sounded to me like at least the FSN crew thought he wasn't really pushed out and that he also bobbled the ball. I guess I'll have to check out the replay when it's uploaded on cyclones.tv.
