Yes, I do think it's crazy. Last year is over, the magical NIT run came to an end, it's time to move on.

Yes I do think ISU can split with KU, do I think it will likely happen? If I was realistically W&L'ing the season would I mark a W next to either KU game? NO. I'm not basing that on us being one of the only team to win at Fog Allen in the past decade. I'm not basing that on anything that happened last year. New season, new teams, starting over at 0 again.

Another classic example of Hawk fans living in the past.

obviously hate kansas but this helps ISU's RPI down the run so whatever. Kansas is a bit better than I expected and ISU will have to make Embiid not be able to play at all for matchup reasons. Wiggins scares the **** out of me as far as the games against them go. Kane is too small and Ejim is not athletic enough to guard him.

Hogue will probably be our best bet.

I simply think that Iowa has a chance of beating Mich. St. at home. This is no more crazy than ISU fan thinking they can beat Kansas at home. Neither one is probably very likely, but neither one is insane, or hilarious. How in the world is that trolling?

You're good on that one. Fans can expect their team to win.
I would expect us to beat Kansas at Hilton even if Fred called me in to start. Sure, I've got no talent, but it's Fred and Hilton, so I'd expect a win.

I think people need to stop comparing Hilton to Carver as if they are on the same level.

KU vs. Duke game was unreal. So much NBA talent. Parker was by far the best player on court last night. Wiggins was great, but Ellis and Selden were the reason KU won. I don't think people give enough credit for those two.

Agreed, KU was STACKED before they got Wiggins.

Unreal game, felt like we were watching a final 4 matchup. IMO neither team has ever been as talented as they are now. They've had better teams but never this much pure talent. Crazy athleticism out there.

Saying Kane is too small to guard Wiggins is like saying Ejim is too small to guard Austin, and we all know that's not true.

Let's calm down a bit here. The 98-99 team with Battier, Brand, Avery, Maggette, Carrawell, and Langdon would strongly disagree with that statement.

Agreed. We are not asking Naz to guard Embiid.

Ejim - Wiggins
Thomas - Tharpe
Kane - Selden
Niang - Ellis/Black
Hogue - Ellis/Black

I think we can match up with their starting 5. Shutting down Selden/Ellis will be a key to winning against KU.

We'll see what happens but Ellis is the key to unlocking KU for me. Getting him in foul trouble would be great, he not only gets his but some of his outlets and other things he does directly corresponds to Wiggins and the other terds getting easy buckets.

Agreed. Ellis did nothing the majority of last season and then right before the Big 12 tournament he started rolling including completing abusing us in KC. He's really playing at a high level right now.

It's funny because he probably qualifies as an "under the radar" guy at KU; just because he was always going to go to KU people outside of the Jayhawk sphere of influence (ie Missouri) don't look at him like they would look at a Maclemore, Wiggins or Seldon. 5-star, offers from Duke and UK.

Hogue will guard Wiggins at first.

Ellis is playing lights out right now. Selden doesn't play like a freshman.
Their freshman PG Mason looked really impressive as well. He is quick.
