We've been playing some very solid teams.

Kansas will provide far fewer problems and we'll actually be able to do some things.

I hope.

So glad KU is at home this year! Will it matter? Idk. But its preferable to playing there!! I still have nightmares about 2005. One of my lowest moments as a cyclone fan.

Is anyone going to be surprised if Kansas is favored next week? They beat WVU who beat TCU and Okie State.

Anyone that thinks it is a sure win after what we have seen the last few weeks is delusional.

I would be shocked if we are favored. Kansas is the better team right now and I would put money on them.

I've been surprised over the past several weeks at the remaining confidence vs. KU. I will be shocked if we are favored.

WVU at home is a totally different team than WVU on the road.

Kansas is the last shot at a win.
Everyone can decide how solid a shot it is. We don't really have a home field advantage, and the remaining crowd will be pretty sparse, anyway.
In terms of talent, who knows? Kansas does have the monkey off their back, so that could be a real advantage in their favor.

We have Senior Day, but the key seniors rarely see the field, so I don't think that'll be much help.

This coaching job has to be considered one of the worst ever....considering the support given is greater than ever.

Saying this is the worst team ever just shows that many of you have no idea what the teams used to be like in the Walden years. We literally looked like a high school team getting off the bus. Sure, we had a few good athletes here and there. But, for the most part it looked like college kids versus high school kids. This team would absolutely destroy some of ISU's teams from the past based on athleticism alone. Go ahead and say I'm wrong but my guess is if you disagree it's because you were in Pampers during those years.

When CPR and the rest of the coaches were talking about the amount of athleticism on this team, they weren't lying. This team is athletic. But they are also so freaking young it's ridiculous. They are raw. They are out of position frequently because they don't have game experience. Yes, we have a few Seniors who will be missed on Defense next year. However, we don't lose anyone on offense that was #1 on the depth chart for the OU game except for Coleman/Gary but we have a lot of capable WR's coming in and it would be hard to argue those new guys aren't an upgrade (no offense meant to Coleman or Gary but we have some studs coming in at WR). We only have 3 guys listed #1 that won't be here for AT LEAST 2 more seasons.

What I am saying is everyone needs to chill out. Anyone who has played football knows how much difference a year of experience can make. Hell, look at Baylor. We beat them last year and now they are one of the best teams in the country. I'm really getting tired of all the criticism of this team as "the worst ever". How would you guys like it if your so called supporters were calling you out as the worst ever at whatever you do when you bust your *** every day to get better while sacrificing your body for an f'ing game. They don't owe you anything. These guys get injuries they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. (TRUST ME ON THIS ONE) For what? So a bunch of "fans" can call them losers?

I was an undergrad for Walden's end. I've been here before.

I graduated in 86, so I endured the great drought of the 90's. We are about as bad as anything in that era. Walden had a functional offense and less talent to work with - also we had scholarship penalties back then.

You do realize that Baylor is a really young team as well this year don't you?

You're living in fantasy land. We might be a little bit more talented than 1-2 of those teams in the 90's but it's debatable.

The entire B12 is fairly young. I don't see a lot of young talent to get excited about frankly. Our OL will probably be a little better in the next 2 years, but we've got holes all over the place besides just that.
