may actually be good. After being recruited by big Cal and Little Cal he may hear a lot of the same spiel. And understand how un genuine they are.

I may have missed the meltdown, but Kentucky is a school that scares me. They have something very important and tangible that no other school does. They put every player they start into the NBA.
It looks like RV cut them from his list because they weren't recruiting him very hard, not because of his lack of interest.
Should be a tense winter.

Kentucky talent gets drafted because they are great players. Vaughn is a great player who will get drafted no matter where he goes. He can also better showcase his talent here. We play top competition, we are on tv, and we are on the rise big time on the national scene.
He said he wants to go somewhere where he can be the guy, close to home, play fast tempo, and have a good relationship with the coach.
Vaughn is coming to Iowa State. We are a perfect match, he's favoring us on twitter, and he's a young kid who what's attention. He loves the attention and is drawing it out, but he's coming here.

I sure hope so. I'm not worried about UNLV. I was very slightly worried about KU coming in last minute.
I am very worried about UK.
Especially based on how long it took him to set up an official. It took him forever to set one up for UNC, and he cancelled his BU one. He hasn't set one up for KU has he? He set his UK one up in a week.
And whether you think UK sends players to the NBA because they are very good or because of something they do there, you will certainly get a great spotlight there to showcase your talents as long as you play. Hopefully playing time deters him.

I just hope he's pulling a "Lazard/Notre Dame" type thing.
Where he just wants to see the country a little bit, see what's out there, (for free) and ultimately sign with Iowa State like he plans to. Maybe he'll hold a presser some day, and skype his chosen team. Maybe he'll do the manly thing and just don a cardinal/gold baseball cap and enjoy the greatest launching pad to the NBA he could ever imagine. Nothing I'd like better than to see the face of "Roy" after he learns about Rashad's decision to become a Cyclone.
