Not sure if it's been mentioned but Doc Sadler and Fred were almost co-coaches. Fred was looking to Sadler for help a decent amount in the end. At least we survived. If we were going to lose one this was the most likely.

Doc is a great coach and we are very fortunate to have him as an assistant. He probably won't be at ISU for long as he probably wants to be a head coach again but having him at Fred's side will definitely help Fred become a better coach.

That was a game which just set the tone for the rest of the season IMO. Down 18 with like 15 minutes to go our heads down and we pull together as a team and flat out destroy UNI rest of the way. This team refuses to go down. Great adjustment by CFH and doc in 2nd half by double teaming UNI bigs when they got it in post. Took away their fade away crap.

Anybody know what Doc is getting paid? He sure is earning every penny. Would love to keep him around a couple more years if/when he leaves for another HC job. Give that man a raise.

This is a game that, if played last year, our team would not have survived being down 18. Huge props to the team & coaching staff for weathering the storm and even the heartbreaking 3 to tie it up at the end of regulation. We definitely got UNI's best shooting effort (except for FTs) & yet won the battle!!

This year's senior leadership > last year's senior leadership

And we had a GREAT group last year. It's really something to improve on that!

What is it about the stupid UNI game that just kills me? I saw us go down by 7 in the first half and then proceeded to lgo to the store and buy vodka because I knew losing to UNI would kill me. Then I proceeded to get drunk as hell and we won.

I don't care how we ******* did it. I am just glad to win. And I would gladly drop UNI from all future sports schedules because they ******* beat us all of the time.

It is concerning how much the stupid UNI game bothers me.
