Have you ever walked out of a movie?

Many years ago I was with a couple friends and we walked out of Three Amigos. I love dumb humor as much as the next guy but that movie was dumber than dumb. We had a friend who worked at the theater and he let us into Star Trek IV instead.

I don't watch a lot of movies but I feel asleep during the only Harry Potter movie I went to.

My dad walked out of Avenue Q play in Las Vegas one time. That was kind of embarrassing.

Well, I now know two people that I would never get along with.

I almost walked out of the midnight premier for Transformers 2. I've always loved transformers and watching that pile of **** felt like it was destroying a beloved part of my childhood. It was a similar feeling as when my Mom sold a bunch of my NES games for like 10 cents at a garage sale.

Well, I now know two people that I would never get along with.

My mom sold my NES and all my games at a garage sale after I went to college. I will never forgive her. She's lucky she gets to see my kids.

Don't remember walking out of a theater, but I did return a VHS tape and request my rental money back. I recall liking the main actors...the blurb on the box sounded interesting...but apparently I didn't read it carefully enough. About five minutes in, I rewound it & put it back in the case. I'm not a prude, but if I wanted porn, I would have visited the back room for the XXX tapes.

Obviously it was years ago...I don't even remember the name of the movie or the stars.

If the star of the movie was Traci Lords you might have been in trouble.

I heard this conversation this morning on the radio. The only movie I ever paid for and walked on was "Gods and Generals." And it had one of my all-time favorite actors -- Robert Duvall. I should've walked from "The walking Dead" -- a Vietnam war movie that was terrible. One other person in the theater -- she walked halfway through.

Gods and Generals was so disappointing as Gettysburg is a great movie and I think it was from the same books, director, etc.

My ex-girlfriend dragged me to the first Twilight movie. Wish I could have walked out of that one.

Fell asleep watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Only movie I have ever walked out of was the first Lord of the Rings...best decision of my life. And at the time movies in my hometown only cost $2 or $2.50. That series has gone on WAY WAY WAY too long.

Wait, you're telling me you walked out of the FIRST MOVIE in one of the most beloved and influential series of all time because it was too overplayed? I can understand thinking 3 Hobbit movie's is ridiculous (it is). But walking out of Fellowship because you are tired of all this damn Lord of the Rings stuff? That's more than a little ridiculous. What did you expect?

I have never walked out.

I was close to doing it when I saw "Se7en," not because I disliked it "artistically," but its graphic depictions of some of the sins challenged my tolerance level, so it became unsettling to watch. And I have a strong stomach for most things (I've grown increasingly unable to handle scenes involving knives, though...).

I've endured plenty of bad movies over the years. Even if I despise a film for one reason or another (lame plot, bad acting, boring, insults my intelligence, "comedy" that contains zero laughs, etc.), it can be enjoyable to stay and "hate-watch."

The only two we've left were because of an antsy toddler - Brave and Rise of the Guardians. She now loves Brave, but I don't think any of us were enough invested in Guardians to care.

I haven't left any movies (to date) because they were so bad - but I do have a habit of embarrassing the crap out of my husband by laughing at things that I find insanely bad, even when they're not funny. Spiderman 3, when he was doing the emo b.s.? I laughed a ton. That stupid scene in Pirates 3 where they're fighting on top of the rolling wheels things? Almost got kicked out. I almost had to go to the lobby for whichever X-Men movie had Kelsey Grammer in blue face paint and fur.

You were lucky to miss Crystal Skull. I prefer to pretend that one never existed.

Reminds me of a story about my mom. We went to see Temple of Doom at the drive in. My mom fell asleep and ever since then we've made fun of her. If she thinks somethings boring we ask her if it's as "boring" as Temple of Doom.

If I pay for a movie I watch the damn thing. Ive seen some awful movies, but I refuse to walk out.

I've never understood this philosophy. Why would you punish yourself on top of wasting money?

It's like the people who say "I paid for it so I'm going to eat it." Like gagging down some toxic swill is going to somehow put the money back in your pocket.

I guess I walked out of Star Wars III, when it had a re-showing in the mid-'90s. My daughter got scared, and so she never got to see the Ewoks.

We did Brave at barely 2, so I was proud of her to make it to halfway. She was 2.5 when we did Guardians - similar amount of time. She's gotten pretty decent since, though - did great at Monsters University this summer and fall, so I think she's a little more prepared now. BUT, she's used to sitting and paying attention at preschool now, that may have prepared her better for it?

Ew, how can you even stand yourself if you smell that bad?

I've never walked out, but I remember going to see Borat opening weekend and people were leaving in droves. Theater was full at the start of the movie and probably half left within the first 10 minutes.

Cyclones mens' basketball from November 2006 through March 2010 felt like I was watching a bad movie. It was pretty hard to get into with all of the cast members leaving each year (other than the main antagonist). I should have gotten up and left several times - the writing was certainly on the wall during that scene where the Cyclones lost to South Dakota State at home.

Brave was a pretty scary movie for a kid. It took my daughter a long time before wanting to re-watch it.

Seriously?? That makes zero sense. Where did I say I walked about because it was overplayed? I went the first week it came out back in 2001 and left 30 min in. It would not be possible for me to leave because it was overplayed.
