The Chiefs might have peaked already. Jamaal Charles was a one man show on offense, and the KC line got handled by a pretty ordinary front seven for the Colts. I'll give Andy Reid the benefit of the doubt, but his team looked very much like a one and done outfit today.
Yikes. Look on the bright side; there's enough talent on the roster to engineer a quick turnaround. Lovie Smith would be a home run hire.
KC's game is entirely hinged on not turning the ball over and taking it away from the other team, they've done that very well for a lot of the season. But when they don't they give up a lot of yards and their offense is entirely average, and that's including Jamaal Charles who is incredible.
And they had better hope they play on the road in either warm or indoor places or it will be another short playoff stay for the Manning-led Broncos.
Rooting for Pats against Balt. need a reason for Denver to play starters next week. If they have 1 seed wrapped up this weekend and sit players next week it will be 3 weeks between in game action which is a recipe for a early exit.
Peyton is 266 yards away from Brees' record of passing yards in a season so Denver having to win next week means he'd have a shot at that record to go along with the touchdown mark.
Patriots already up 17-0 on Baltimore and Flacco is being Joe Fluko. Looks like no home field for Denver today
