I finally broke down sand created a user name- it accesses all scout sites for free- nice little network. But man, the isu community is a wasteland.

KU fan here...
What do you think the percentage chance that you guys get Vaughn? You feel like the favorite. I would love to see him as a Jayhawk, but with it looking like Selden will be back as a soph., Brannen Greene and Andrew White returning and Kelly Oubre signed, it's not a huge area of need for us.

It'd be nice to snag one from you guys once in awhile. I fear your frosh will be humming by the time we play.

I am cautiously optimistic with Vaughn. Fred has a great relationship with him and his folks and has been recruiting him heavily since RV was 14.
Realistically, I could never call us a favorite when UNC, KU and Kentucky are also in his top 5.
He would definitely make a good fit with out style of play. We have Matt Thomas (FR), Naz Long (SO) and Sherron Dorsey-Walker (FR) as shooting guard, but none of those guys have stepped up and played consistently enough to make me think that Vaughn would be a gamble to beat them out.

How would this be snagging one from them? We've been recruiting him longer. KU came in on the tail end. That being said if ISU doesn't get Vaughn, I'd like to see him go to KU.
