According to this guy:

Jake Lebahn@JakeLebahn1m
AP top 25 poll: 1-5 Arizona, Syracuse, Florida, Wichita State, San Diego State. KU-6 Oklahoma State-8 Iowa State-16 Oklahoma-23 Texas-25.

remain at 16 in the AP poll.

AP should be getting posted soon as a lot of people are tweeting their school's rank.

How in the F are we below Michigan and especially Iowa?!? We beat Iowa, we beat Michigan who beat Iowa, we've had a harder schedule than Iowa (according to all of the computers), and we have fewer losses than Iowa. It doesn't come close to adding up that they would be ranked higher than us. WTF?

We are ranked WAY too low. If we win at KU Wednesday and beat OU Saturday, there is no way that we aren't at least top 8 at that point given our resume. So the rankings would require a crazy adjustment next week; a huge jump for this late in the year. But how could we not be up that high if we're 17-3 with our resume?!?

Lost 3 in a row very recently.

I can totally see being behind Michigan. They are playing great right now and beat two top ten teams this week. I just don't understand being ranked below Iowa though. We beat them head to head, have less losses, our losses all come to ranked teams and we have much better wins.

You are seriously dumb if you're being serious. Michigan just beat two top ten teams on the road, beat a top 10 team at home sprinkled in with the fact that they are undefeated in their conference. They deserve it way more than us

Sitting in the back end of the AP and Coaches Top 25's with great RPI/BPI and Sagarin numbers is a damned good place to be right now. We don't have the prominent targets on us that the AP/Coaches numbers bring and the Selection Committee pays more attention to the other systems. For ego's sake I'd prefer to be around #12 but I'll take #16 in a heartbeat. The only thing that bugs me is having Iowa one spot above us on the AP. Any other separation would be fine but just ahead of us ain't right.

We beat them at home. Road wins are the wins that really get people's attention.

Look at where they have played their toughest games so far (all on the road) compared to where our toughest games have been so far (all at home). They have a chance to live up to their ranking the next few games with a bunch of ranked teams coming to IC, while it's time for us to actually prove something on the road.

Plus, it hurts to say but most experts give Iowa a pass for the ISU game as they seem to all agree that Iowa blew it completely in the end.

I'm fine with our ranking. We beat 2 teams currently in the top 25 and that was at home early in the year. I don't see why we are any more deserving of a higher ranking than Iowa really. Everything will play itself out at the end of the year anyways.

So Iowa's road win at Ohio State trumps our home wins over Michigan, Iowa and Baylor (although that doesn't look all that great now.)

There is a slight what have you done lately that applies in the rankings and recently we have lost 3 straight while Iowa has not. Things will play itself out. If we win at KU on Wednesday and win at home against OU then I can make a little better case of why we should be ahead of Iowa.
