Re: Student section

Who said they were? How many times does it have to be said posting on CF critical views of the student section is not posting critical views of the students on CF?

Who else would read this? Only students on CF are gonna read it. It is implied that they are complaining to the students on here, otherwise they would post it on a more public forum.

Do you think Fred comes to CF for tips? Why even have a game thread? You have almost 4k posts and are not familiar with message boards.

Nevertheless, I am not sure there is a better place, besides taking an ad out in the Daily. Unless you are contending that students on CF do not know any current students who do not go to games, discussing the empty seats in the student sections with CF students is appropriate.

That's not implied at all. You're a moron.

No excuse for the student turnout. Jamie should just sell the balcony seats for the tech and tcu games cause it will be empty.

I just think it is too bad that the students can't fill the sections every game, when you have a top 25 team. Especially when they are playing another top 25 team, and playing in the best conference there in the country.

I just don't get it. Only about 11 percent of the students buy tickets to basketball, which is pretty bad, but then they can't even show up for a big game like this, or a good team like this? I don't care what argument someone tries to make to defend that......it's pretty weak.

@Freshman Orientation....

Dad: "Oh honey, are you going to want to go to any football games?"

Son/Daughter: "Hmm I don't know... Probably football for sure."

Mom: "Well we might as well buy you an all-sports pass, just in case you want to go to a few basketball games too."

Son/Daughter: "Oh great idea! You're the best, mom!"

The real question here is, why the hell do a bunch of grown *** adults care so much if some students don't use their tickets for every game? Do you have nothing else in your life to complain about or do you just complain about everything you see that is in anyway against your blind expectations? I'm going to assume it's the latter.

Pretty sure last year the All-Sports passes were almost sold out before Freshmen had a chance to get them.

Because it is a persistent problem, and students had complained that the AD's solution for it was unfair. Looks like Pollard hasn't gone far enough?

Well, I know some are tired of CA's terrible leadership. Don't have student tix so don't care either way, just another possibility. There's a deeper issue going on if it's another 1k students not showing up.

I'm willing to bet it doesn't just happen at freshman orientation though.

Possibly, but it's I really don't think that's the problem. More than anything, I'd say people tend to buy tickets and only care to use them for the Iowa and Kansas games.

Well yeah, that's basically a big part of my point too, but I agree. And it's stupid.

Maybe it's because those adults could be using those seats? I'm a student btw.
