The ISU pep band is traveling to Vegas this weekend.

I think one of the differences between Barnes and RV is, that we will still be fine if we don't land RV (which I think he does commit to us btw). With Barnes he was our last hope.

I'll be super annoyed if he picks UNLV, but then I'll just know he is an idiot who is probably getting paid.

If we would have landed Barnes McDermott would still be our coach and we would have been a middle of the pack Big 12 team at best.

I doubt the trip to Vegas was a real thing last night, but IF it was, I think it sounds more like bad news than good.

Why would that be bad news? If a recruit said "I just committed to _____" and it's not your school, why the **** would you buy a last minute flight to him? He'd have obviously made a final decision at that point and it would be a waste of time and money.

How would this be bad news? He committed to Fred's face rather than over the phone?

But bad news because Iowa State was told they weren't it and Hoiberg goes out for one last ditch attempt.
