Good, now I can come out and say what a dbag. He obviously made his decision a while ago. Only a dbag would wait until last minute like this to try and stir up some drama
to me it never really looked like he wavered from Minnesota. Maybe he was still in touch with other coaches just like Lazard still had a bit of contact with ND at one point, but I never got the feeling that he wasn't gonna be a gopher.
I felt this way too. The reports about him not returning isu coaches phone calls was pretty revealing.
It could have been this too, which I wouldn't have found to be a move of douchery, but there is the report of him not returning coaches calls. Kid just wanted attention and to create drama imo.
Fun fact: we have signed the number 1 player in Iowa 2 years in a row now, and both were very high quality recruits
Man, they would have lost it if we stole Jeff Jones from them. It'd be the equivalent of them stealing Lazard from us, and I can't imagine the meltdown that would have ensued on here.
Anyone know what time Rhoads press conference today is? He usually holds one to highlight the class.
I think Jones and Mister are both attracted to their drama and their mama so its best they stay close to home and keep the drama at their respective schools.
Sure would have liked to have added the Gooch and a couple of DL'S but overall very excited. Great job done by the staff with everything that has happened with the season, coaching staff changes, and of course Coach Brays unfortunate passing.
Now lets go get Vaughn!
