Do you disagree? We've had one in the history of Iowa State. Vaughn is clearly our best shot at getting one. If you disagree I'd like to know who you think we get if it's not Vaughn.

I disagree. I think we will have opportunities with plenty of McDonalds AA's with Fred at the helm.

Findlay....Kaffey....and UNLV....
In selecting Findlay Prep, Vaughn and Kaffey chose one of the most uncommon prep schools in the country. In 2009, Sports Illustrated said Findlay Prep essentially “outsources the school in high school†and simply focused on fielding a basketball team. As it built a 65-1 record after being created in 2006, according to Sports Illustrated, Findlay Prep’s players lived in a five-bedroom home with a coach and attended classes at nearby Henderson International, a private grade school. Findlay Prep, the magazine added, was largely funded by local automobile magnate Cliff Findlay, a UNLV booster.

Whether it is true or not (and it is not- 4 of 5 schools are high profile and the 5th doesn't eliminate the possibility), it comes off as a low class comment that slights the ability of the recruit.

Well, for starters, no one is really that familiar with recruits 2016 and beyond since they're all sophomore's or younger. So asking people to name someone is a little sillly.
We are in on this guy for next year - Cheick Diallo - Basketball Recruiting - Player Profiles - ESPN
and I expect Fred will be targeting top guys every year. We are only going to continue to get better and therefore be in on more top recruits. Especially as Fred gets more and more name recognition by the year. I'm not saying we will ever get one, but to say that he is the only shot we'll ever have is just plain wrong.

Anyone else see that Meyer also said he would not be surprised at all if Vaughn decides to postpone the announcement. Please to god do not let that happen. I can't handle a postponement.
