I think calling out the one tweet isn't exactly giving him a hard time. I also think that saying that he spoke to Jerry Meyer implies and actual private email or conversation, not that stupid tweet that Jerry put out saying that his sources are saying UNLV. Jerry's sources are better than mine, but he's the only person that knows.

Not to mention the crap he tried to pull last night.

Do you disagree? We've had one in the history of Iowa State. Vaughn is clearly our best shot at getting one. If you disagree I'd like to know who you think we get if it's not Vaughn.

It's not the fact that you posted it, it's the fact that you followed it up with the whole giving up thing, which comes across as immature and whiny. THIS... That's what I posted a few pages back and I agree. If he doesn't chose ISU and say does UNLV it would be great to have someone ask him why he choose UNLV over say Iowa St. But RV is pretty cool and calm which is why I love the kid. We all are selfish in our own way of wanting it for us and our team (which I understand) but reality is that RV will do what he feels is best for him.

I think Jerry Meyer is an idiot too. Dude just slighted the MAYOR big time with his comment. Guarantee you that we land a MCD AA in the Mayor era. Bank on it.

I get it. You have to realize though that as great as it would be to get a Vaughn type of player, Fred is going to get guys like Niang, Thomas, and Morris who will most likely be 4 year guys along with impact transfers. If we don't get Vaughn, we will still be a damn good team next year
