In my opinion I would rather have a four year post lefty in Clark than a one and done that could ruin chemistry

If the players who have transferred here with prior issues haven't hurt chemistry under Fred, why in the world would you think Vaughn would be an issue?

Trying to talk himself into thinking of why we'd be better off without Vaughn if he chooses not to come here.

Our system is chemistry proof. If you can shoot, throw lobs, finish lobs, and run you won't have any problem fitting in.

If Clark comes here, he has a good chance to prove himself before McKay is eligible. I doubt he starts, but could see decent minutes. If he's shown big strides before McKay is available, I expect to see him get more minutes. I think right now it's between us and K-State. Has he said when he's going to announce?

Agree. IMO he could come in and play like a freshman Ejim that first semester, which is probably good enough to get minutes at the four until McKay is eligible.

I think that he said in the Spring. I wish that we would have a recruiting class finished but it doesn't look that way. I would love to have Clark, Malou, and Custer as I think it could be an "under the radar" class except for Custer (he is well recognized). I would love to have a SF in Clark with his handles and his body, and a SF in Malou that could shot over the top of zone defenses at 6'9' from the 3 point line. At least at this point, the program has come a long way in that we are still excited about this season and what potential seed we are in the Big 12 and NCAA tournament rather than talking and analyzing what next year will be like. I am so thankful of the amount of work that Fred, staff, and the players have done.

Clark did say on his twitter that he'd announce in early spring. Sorry this is kind of off topic but I was curious what anyone knows about malou? Has anyone seen him play? I asked in another thread and only heard crickets.

Just by watching his YouTube highlights I'd say he has NBA potential.

This. I don't know how anyone could have followed Hoiball the last 4 years, understand who and where these transfers came from, and think any differently.

CFH can seemingly mesh a team with anything.

Thought I read he was visiting Indiana and/or Michigan State? Regardless, it will be another battle with good teams to pull him in. Would like to have him. C'mon Marvin, you'd love being a Cyclone!

Marvin Clark's Prep team went 4-0 this weekend in Las Vegas at the National Prep Showcase. They have a talented team with a ton of length. I haven't been able to find any stats for MC from this weekend yet but here are the starters on his team.

G Alex Gorski 6-5, 205 - Sweden - committed to Saint Marys
G Zachary Brown 6-7, 200 - Houston - commited to Wichita State
F Marvin Clark 6-7, 220 - Kansas Citys - hopefully to cyclONEnation
F Luka Vermezovic 6-8, 220 - Serbia
C Rauno Nurger 6-10, 215 - Estonia - committed to Ole Miss

I thought their starting point guard was this guy?

Lourawls Nairn - Yahoo! Sports

They have a very talented team.
