Maybe one day you will. But I doubt it. If your protected team ever gets that low enough where the NCAA would get you an appropriate 10 you'll still get a 4. Deflect away again. At least 2coaches comes up with some valid arguements once in a while.

KU got a 4 seed in 2009. Do you feel like they deserved a 10? If so, please explain.

KU was considered the fourth 1 seed in 2008. They were thus expected to make it to the Final Four but no further. Does the fact that they won the National Championship count as an overachieve?

Actually I'm pretty sure that they were above both memphis and UCLA on the S-curve, but I could be wrong. They got paired with NC that year because of region not because of their ranking. It was pretty much a wash after NC. NC was far and away awarded the overall #1, but the other 3 differences weren't all that much of consequence.

But again I'd say yes overachieve. And again please go back and look at the underachieves and get back to me.

Depends how freely you're willing to throw around the word "overachieve". Technically, I guess you could. By your definition pretty much anybody who wins a game in the tournament that is not the 1st or 2nd #1 seed would be overachieving.

I just don't consider anybody that is a top 8 team in the country making the NCG to be overachieving.

How difficult was their road to the Final Four in 2008? Looks to me like they didn't have a chance to overachieve really when they beat the 16, the 8, the 12, and the 10 seed to reach the Final Four.

Please then provide examples of KU being seeded higher than where they should have been.

Actually it was directly referencing his and his grandfathers childish behavior. Show me what's inappropriate.

I didn't say it was inappropriate, I said you were being a ******. It's not like he came on here bragging about it, he used it to prove that KSU vs. KU is an intense rivalry. He didn't say he was proud of it or that he continued on the tradition. Keep this on basketball is all I ask. Attacking someone's family over basketball is beyond ********.

Where is the video evidence of the bad calls against KU from last night? Still waiting on the video from twocoach. I'm starting to believe they never happened.

EXACTLY. Everyone said that Kansas was undeserving of making the Final Four in 08 because of their "easier" path. They then proceeded to beat two #1 seeds int he Final Four to win the title. The point is all this silliness over what seed beat what seed is pointless. In a single elimination tournament, virtually everyone in the field can win games.

There's a reason why Kansas played teams seeded so low in '08; because all of those teams were able to BEAT higher ranked teams to advance in the tourney. Steph Curry's Davidson team was good enough to beat both the #2 and #3 seed in the region. How exactly does that make them an easy out?

The foul was at 18:24 left in the first half of the game. I have no idea where to go to find video of the game. I have never had any interest in trying to put together video evidence of anything. If you feel like tracking down the video of the game and looking at that point in the game, knock yourself out. The foul was assigned to Gother instead of Crockett. Go for it...

Exactly, which is why I was saying you were being a ******. Why hold that against him when he has no control over it. It seems like your cause is just to try and **** him off to try and get him banned.

Can we talk about that KU booster who assaulted the ethnic minority on the golf course in this thread? Has anybody mentioned Danny Manning and the Iowa kid (so forgettable I have forgotten his name) whose parents just BY COINCIDENCE got jobs for the University of Kansas? Does KU have a facebook page? I bet ISU has more Likes.
Does KU even lift?

Please then provide examples of KU being seeded higher than where they should have been.

Since you asked 2013, 2010, 2007, 2006, and 2005 all would be considered vastly underachieved. 2011 would be an underachieve. I'm not going through more. But I'm sure there's more. It would make more sense for a Jayhawk fan to breakdown objectively their performance against their seeding as I'm only so familiar with Jahawk history, but If you disagree, show me where I"m wrong. They have vastly underperformed much much more than they have exceeded.

I gave you a break down of ISU's as I'm more familiar with their vast under ratings, I also knew where to look for cyclone rankings comparisons. If you are half the fan your rantings let you think you are you should be able to come up with a similar analysis. If you don't like my categories of vast, considerable and plain under/over achieve. Just tell me if they went out one two or 3 rounds before their seed should suggest.

If you do I'm fairly sure what you will find. If you don't I'll assume you didn't like what you find. As it is for my sample size we'll say you are over-rated about 2x as often as you are under-rated. I'll wait. Thanks in advance.

Unbelievable that this thread is longer than our game day thread by many posts. You guys are letting one KU fan keep this trolling going on and on. Sad. And I like twocoach, but even I gave this up a long time ago.
