Sorry. It wasn't necessarily directed at what you've posted trying to rationalize why it's cool to negative.

I was only responding to that particular post.

This isn't directed at your stream of consciousness either, but to all the other asshats. before you post, think about how you would feel if you were related to the player you are about to trash.
I notice that you're new here.
Have you lurked at all before signing up or did you just sign up and that was your first or second official game thread?

If you have never lurked and are officially brand new, then I would strongly suggest never opening a game thread of any sort. Also, stay far away from this board until the next day or so following a loss in basketball or football.

This will save you from having to make that same post about 100x.

New, just moved back to the state.

Thanks for the advice. I'll know what to avoid.

I missed the end and ot so the cowgirl rulzzz magic continues.

I just wanna know your reaction when you heard the crowd roar.

I wonder if anyone's caught on recording an epic Hilton roar like that from outside the arena.

I'm going to add camp #5.

My son had a basketball tournament. I asked my wife to DVR the game. She says I got it.

I get home in time to probably watch the last few minutes of regulation and OT, but being a nice husband I decide to do some laundry and pick up the house until she gets home with my middle son and we can watch the game together.

I crack a beer sit down about an hour ago. Nothing on the DVR.

Since then I have been reliving the game through the game thread.

Let me just you guys are all depressing.

Also let me know if there are any cyclone an ladies out there that are available and proficient in using a DVR.
Nobody married feels sorry for you. This is a "you problem". Never, never, never trust your wife.

Going forward:
If you Have children:
1-ask them to do it.
2-They are trustworthy with technology.
3-If they don't you are allowed to hurt them(look in Leviticus it is there).

if you don't have children:
1-be a man. Own this duty. Own it!

Here to help ;)

ha, no! Looking at homes with a realtor, so we were in and out of them......not using them!
Horse ****. Those houses will be there tomorrow. Missing this game for "house hunting" is wholly unacceptable.

I had a similar experience. My daughter had a basketball tourney in Indianapolis and I forgot to set the DVR. My son was at a indoor track meet. I too had to ask my wife to set the DVR. After giving her directions on the phone for 10 minutes, she thought she had the game set to record. I should have known better. Lucky for me, my son got home with 5 minutes to go in regulation and saved the day by recording the end of regulation and OT. Awesome ending!

you know, I'm a little sad I missed the game, but I can rewatch the ending over and over and didn't have to go through the heart attack of being down and praying for the tie.
