Embid OUT for B12 Tourney

Freshman star Joel Embiid will not play in the Big 12 tournament for Kansas, according to coach Bill Self.

I do feel bad for Embid a bit.

This really opens up the tourney a lot considering how tough KU's first 2 games are going to be. KU might have the toughest road to the championship of any legit contender.

That's going to be tough on your KU team. I still think you're better than 95% of the teams in the dance though and unless you run into a UNI type situation...

This could open up Saint Louis for us if KU loses early and we win the tournament. It just depends on how the committee views this injury.

We are better than KSU and I expect to beat them. KU without Embiid... They are beatable just the same. We could very well end up playing Okie St. again. I'd rather play KU.
