In a way, this isn't going to hurt us that much IMO. The DL was not going to be that good anyway, even with Coe. I mean let's all be honest here. The DL was horrible this year, and wasn't looking to be any better this year.

And losing a guy that obviously wasn't "All In" isn't going to make much difference.

It almost feels like a "The hell you will argument" that went too far.

How often do players break the news? I picture they asked him to sit rest of spring and Coe responded with "I'll just leave".

to those who think this isn't a devastating blow to our defense I say wake up. This is devastating. Our defense will be atrocious. Way to screw up a free education and a decent chance at life.

Yup, because without ISU football you have no shot at a decent chance at life....

Was going to be before he got dismissed.

It actually had some legitimate potential with Coe there. A dominant 3 tech, Morrisey was a good DE starting. Cousins an average NT and a ton of players competing for that other DE spot and the backup DE spots. Irving was a solid backup and could've moved out to the other end spot if necessary.

Now Irving is our starting 3 tech, an exta DE has to move in to 3 tech, we lose depth and competition at DE, all on top of losing the most disruptive player on our defense.

Yeah, no inside info, but when all or most of the team can be on time or whatever else, no excuse.

Those tweets...well, there is obviously more to the story as you don't just decide that your top guy is the guy to cut.

It sounds like he missed meetings and was late. Not sure who I am angrier at. Him for being so absolutely careless or the coaches for letting it happen and then kicking him off the team.

Convicted felons can stay on the team, but if you're late to a meeting, YOU'RE GONE!!

You are hilarious if you think isu kicks the starting DT off the team in an already short handed position group because of a few late appearances.

you have got to be the most uneducated and idiotic "fan" that I have ever come across... Decent chance at life? Are you kidding me?

What I meant was he had all the opportunities laid out in front of him to set himself up for life. Not to mention a free education. History is a killer and generally shows that this kids who have problems time and time again eventually end up in a not so great spot in life. So my post, which was a post of frustration for the kid and the fball team makes me uneducated and an idiot? ok. I could care less what you think. Guess we will see where RC is in 10 years.
