Based on what's being returned/lost/added SO FAR:

1.) Kansas
2.) Iowa State
3.) Baylor
4.) Texas
5.) Oklahoma
6.) Kansas State
7.) Oklahoma State
8.) West Virginia
9.) Texas Christian
10.) Texas Tech

probably 5-6 bids, could be another 7. Obviously we still have to see if Staten leaves, who ISU adds, and other players that might transfer out/in for the other schools.

Texas should be no 2 otherwise I don't have a problem with that list.

West Virginia surely can't finish that low, they're pretty loaded next year, yet I don't know who to move down. Will be another interesting year in the conference to say the least.

Are you serious? First, he has 5 more years. Kane is older than a LOT of multi-year NBA all stars. But it also goes to upside. Smart's is much higher.
Upside schmupside. What happens when a team takes Smart with a top 5 pick, and then he doesn't get any better? It will look pretty stupid compared to the team that scoops Kane up as an undrafted free agent and gets the same production.

Did you not see that Eron Harris is transferring? They were going to be loaded, but now they're probably looking no better than 5th.

In case anyone is interested:

@GoodmanESPN: Just landed and got word that SMU has landed Texas Tech transfer Jordan Tolbert. Has one year left -- chance he is eligible next season.

Not at all surprised by that. SMU is going to be really good next year. Larry's got an incredible recruiting class coming in.

Austin has to declare soon right? He often looks lousy against us, but he was starting to play really well in some games the second half of the year.

Chances are he does declare, but I don't think he would go any higher than late 1st round - early 2nd. With a draft class as stacked as this year's, he is going to have a hard time getting where he wants to be in the draft. He should stay another year, continue to progress his game (which is inconsistent), and then declare next year, when the draft won't be as good as 2014's.

Progress his game with Scott Drew as his coach??? Don't get me wrong he is off the dislike list with most ISU fans now but his player development has been pretty poor IMO...even with the sweet 16 appearances...body of work over his career shows good coaching though so wtf do I know.

I agree, Drew has not had players reach their full potential. But Austin needs to put on more weight and get better down low offensively.
