I'd put Victor Alexander before Ejim.
not like anyone would pout if his jersey did get retired. just feels like ISU basketball has been bad for so long that people are settling on a pretty good players jersey being retired. I think the player of the year argument is being a little over blown he got the award which is awesome but he really wasn't much better than any of the others that could have won it. all the best players in the league this year seemed kinda average. wouldn't mind either way though

Ejim has objective success and recognition at the regional and national level.
At this point what possible argument can there be against this? 4 year player. Big 12 POTY. All Big 12. All-American. Most starts in ISU MBB. Most wins in ISU MBB history. Highest single game scorer in Big 12 history. First team Academic All-American. Graduated with honors. Two international teams. Fan favorite. Excellent representative of ISU.
Yet some argue against it? WTF?

I meant there was no one really that was hands down the best player in the league. and I don't even think of wiggins being one of the best he sucked most of the year. The best players in the Big 12 were "kinda average"? Three of them are likely to be top-10 NBA draft picks, with a very real chance that Wiggins and Embiid go #1 and #2!
I'm starting to see what CycloneErik means when he says that some people must have a hard time accepting our success.
Go home you're drunk! He was good for 15 points and 7 boards almost every night. And would put up an occasional 25-30 on good nights.I meant there was no one really that was hands down the best player in the league. and I don't even think of wiggins being one of the best he sucked most of the year.

Since Mel hasn't technically graduated yet he can't have his jersey retired. Have some patience people.
