Saying he isn't on the same universe as other D1 players is classless? It's sure not false.should cut the classless comments about Taylor
Cooke just drilled a 3 to send the second semi into OT!!!
Who is #41 for cooke's team? He's the one that got them back in it.
Hey that's me!! I'll still post them to YouTube though too. There's video of it on Instagram @isucyclonesmbb
I was there and got some good video! Got the Cooke three and the SDW dunk. I'll have them posted on YouTube on Tuesday. (If you can't wait go to http://instagram.com/ISUCyclonesMBB for video)Please tell me you've been recording tonight Thompson. SDW had a nasty dunk near the end of regulation too.
4. Thomas looks like he is driving a bit better than in the past. Like his turn around jumper which I haven't seen from him before. Still trying that behind-the-back dribble to his left, which was not effective in games last year.
Jack Taylor was a bust. I've been looking forward to seeing him. Even in the 3 point contest with nobody covering him, he had horrible form and didn't make very many. He had a few nice shots in the actual game. Maybe his injury was a factor, but he was not impressive at all . . . for an NCAA record scorer!
From the story I read last year from a naysayer, the Grinnell coach installed that crazy offense, and found a star in Jack Taylor. For scheduling, the coach then duped schools like small bible colleges and other NAIA teams to come in and get slaughtered---in order to create this mystifying aura and amazing style of basketball---so coach could write a book about it! Outside media were too lazy to research the competition, so the 150-110 point games seemed out of this world
All a big ruse.
Kind of like K-State fb marshmellow non-conference scheduling in the 1990's that padded their overall record. It worked.

All I know is that I showed up last week looking forward to seeing something special in Jack Taylor and saw someone who pretty much reminded me of myself (a few years younger) . . . if you didn't know who had the record, there would have been at least 20 guys you would have guessed before him.
I'm giving him an out because he had an injury earlier in the summer. I must have just seen him on the wrong night.
I thought the grinnell style was in effect prior to jack Taylor going there. I don't think the coach changed philosophy just for Taylor.
