Also, exactly how good is ISU interior DL & MLB ?

wow cant believe this thread has gone this far. so much pride of people who have nothing to do with success on field except maybe giving some money here and there.

anyway

interior DL we are average for 1st string; 2 returning starters dismissed in offseason for misbehavior. 2 left for chronic injuries or lack of playing time. 1 good senior left and came back [Brandon Jensen]. So starters are more than serviceable. Behind that is youth and maybe a Juco transfter.

MLB more of the same. Youth and inexperience but a lot there is a lot of competition for MLB. There is a Juco competiting for MLB also.

No one is going to know much until the NDSU game. we have an enterily new offense with a proven coordinator. Tons of questions on defense but an infusion of 7 juco transfers.

Lakes, I don't subscribe to the JV crap, but I am as impressed, perhaps more so, of NDS scheduling as I am Bison performance on the field as it relates to recent contests against FBS opponents. It seems to me that your wins against the aforementioned foes occurred at times when those teams were struggling mightily in their conferences. Only the win against KSU really sticks out as a surprising upset and that happened in the first game of a total rebuild season. You are most fortunate you didn't battle the Kats in mid or late season.

With respect to your remark about belittling; That works both ways. Some of us have visited Bisonville.

ISU has enjoyed more success along with KU, Indiana, Washington State, Wake Forrest and any other FBS team that comes to mind.

It is what it is. Of course he's a troll. He is well known for it here and on other boards. I've had some serious dialogue with him regarding players and line-ups etc. which I regard as reliable information and fan interaction.

I've witnessed this type of bluster on every board forum I've visited. We have one of our own posting really stupid sh!+ on the NDSU site. I am truly amazed that their admins have tolerated it this long. Myself, I try to refrain from the silliness and steer clear of the personal insults.

He is a troll but he won't go away even if you don't feed him. He is more of a lost puppy. Even if no one else posted in this thread he would continue to post in it and keep it on the front page.

He can be entertaining at times, so that is why people throw him an occasional bone.

Lakes enjoys trolling, but he does know quite a bit about football. Hes kind of a unique troll. Informative sometimes, but over the top most of the time.

BDK on the other hand is posting nothing but insults on the BV forum. They probably let him stay because its giving Cyclones a black eye. He fails at trolling.

I am looking forward to the game and give NDSU a 50/50 shot. It wont be an easy game for either team and I expect it to be a nail-biter. A lot of crow will be consumed thats for sure.
