But no one else has to deal with this "problem."
Well, except for the other teams that matter. I love this "problem."

It's not even a problem. Show me one fanbase in any sport that doesn't convince themselves that they are "getting screwed" by some unfairly difficult patch of their schedule. Just play the games.

That is really cool.
Since this the Internet, something snarky is required, so: pics or it never happened.

Here is a photo of the actual equipment Naismith used to do eye exams for all incoming freshmen until 1937. It is on display in the KU Museum at the entrance to Allen Fieldhouse. My grandfather was a freshman in 1929. It's as close as I can get...

Omaha is cyclone territory. I think youre actually a cyclone fan at heart, but have been a fair weather fan of Kansas. Now that ISU is becoming a prominent name in college ball I fully expect you to jump back on the ISU bandwagon.

Don't want!!

My grandfather got his incoming freshman eye exam from Dr. James Naismith himself back in the late 1920s so sorry, no fairweather KU fan here. We were inbred long before I was born. And yes, I do know several ISU fans/grads here in Omaha but there is also a surprisingly large number of KU grads here as well. But I wouldn't go so far as to call Omaha a Cyclone town.

FIFY.

Best I can tell, CBS only carried one Big 12 game last year, which was Oklahoma State @ Kansas in January.

I'd bet we see one of the Kansas/Texas games on CBS.

the kansas @ texas game was as well.

Win all three of those games, and I don't see us finishing worse than 2nd in the big xii. Won't be easy.

Assuming they are waiting on the College Gameday schedule to be released at this point, and then it will be out. Should be within the week.
You have to think that there is a very good shot that KU at ISU will host College Gameday since it isn't a Big Monday game. I am really looking forward to ESPN releasing the College Gameday schedule for this reason!

Hopefully we're getting a lot of Saturdays vs. the likes of Tech and TCU.
That was the way it played out 2013-14. I thought we had an excellent schedule last year and our record showed it. Here's to hoping we have a very favorable 2014-15 schedule that helps us out with these 3 Big Monday games in a row!

It is just one more obstacle to account for. I am specifically talking about going on the road for a Monday game. The home team has a huge advantage in those situations. Since we are on the road for two of the three scheduled, the schedule does us no favor.

I think I'd try to get these games dropped from the schedule.

A big opportunity for the program to take the next step.

The next step for this program that will put us on the top step is consistantly beating Kansas. Most people think Big 12 and only think KU. The rest of us are good, but no one is consistantly beating KU. To be the most dominate league in America, some other teams need to step up.
