3rd place in fantasy. Left Kos (was suppose to be hurt) and Berahino on the bench. Both made team of the week. ****....

Happy with Liverpool's opener. First day is always tough and home to Southampton is a historically tricky fixture for them so getting the full 3 points was nice. Did it with Markovic and Lallana out of the team with injuries still and Moreno not in yet having just started training with the team Friday. Couple of huge ones coming up early in the season with the next two away to Man City and away to Spurs.

Also lots of rumors of pressing hard to get Falcao... I'd lose my mind if Rodgers managed that.

Sounds like Balotelli might be back in the BPL as soon as today. Liverpool gets rid of one talented headache and signs another. Glad he's back though, he makes every game he's in a lot more intresting.

Ahh the BPL season just got a lot more interesting with Balotelli returning. As a Liverpool fan I love this. At 16mil pounds, that's a bargain price for the talent he has. Of course the flip side is that Milan was eager to sell him because of his high wages and the headaches he can bring. My line of thinking though is that if you can handle the disctractions of Luis Suarez, there is no reason you can't handle Balotelli. The key is just to see how much Brendan Rodgers can get out of him. When he's focused, energetic and motivated Mario Balotelli is one of the best and most talented strikers on earth. When he's not his work rate is poor, he picks up foolish red cards, etc. Just how often Brendan can get the "good" Balotelli is the key, but he's shown even when he isn't fully engaged he still scores goals at a pretty good clip. Him and Sturridge could be a strong partnership for sure!

Welcome back to the BPL Super Mario!

I don't believe it but there are rumors out there that Arsenal put in a bid on Edinson Cavani.

Rumors out there that Manchester United are close to signing Angel di Maria. Would be a huge get!

I haven't seen anything to suggest that. The only thing I've seen is Di Maria wasn't included in the Spanish Supercup 2nd leg squad. Sorry to break it to you Manure fan but no top player is jumping on that sinking ship captained by a douchey dictator that's not playing in the CL. Should've kept Bebe.
