Just got done, 12 team, I had 8th pick:

P Manning
B. Tate
R. Rice
D. Thomas
V. Cruz
Z. Ertz
S. Ridley
Rams D
Hauschka
T. Williams
K. Robinson
D. Amendola
M. Evans
C. Palmer
A. Gates
K. Benjamin

RBs are pretty shaky. You are going to have to comb the waiver wire for a breakout

Ten team standard league. 5th pick.

QB - Foles (#45)
RB - Stacy (#25)
RB - Morris (#36)
WR - C. Johnson (#5)
WR - D. Thomas (#16)
TE - Witten (#56)
WR/RB - Gerhart (#65)
D/ST - New England (#105)
K - P. Dawson (#125)
Bench - J. Bell (#76)
Bench - Edelman (#85)
Bench - Colston (#96)
Bench - Rudolph (#116)
Bench - Woodhead (#136)
Bnech - Nicks (#145)

I really wanted Peyton Manning at 5 but he went 4. Then I really wanted Andrew Luck at 36 and he went 35. Settled with Nick Foles at 45.

I think Foles will do pretty well. NFC East is pretty bad overall. Keep an eye out for a break out QB for your backup.

You'll probably be really happy with Morris over whatever RB you would have taken in the next couple rounds.

Right now I'm trying to balance taking an early QB and not waiting until too late. I have the #1 pick so the gap between the 24/25 picks and the 48/49 picks seems huge. Seems like all the QBs disappear by the 72/73 picks.

How do you guys feel about Kaepernick as a starter? Seems like if I wait to long I end up with him, Brady, or Romo

I would be OK will any of those 3 QB's, personally. From a fantasy perspective, I think the difference is pretty marginal after the top 2-3.

If I end up with any of those three I usually make a point to get a backup earlier than usual hoping one of the two has a good year.

I would go McCoy #1 then hope a guy like Luck falls to the 4th round. I'd rather have Cutler or Foles than Kaep and Romo. Someone will over-value Brady when they can get Matt Ryan much later.

I think Brady's gonna be a steal. I've done quite a few mocks and Ryan and Brady are going around the same time.

Yeah I get lucky in a few mocks and Ryan falls to me. Luck is often gone by the 4th sadly.

I got Kaepernick well after Romo and Brady in Rulzzz's league. I'd rather have Brady, but he went in the 6th round. There must have been a couple guys that drafted 2 QBs by Round 9, because Kaepernick was the 14th QB drafted.

The 49ers offense looks horrible, but it's the preseason, and it's not really a great predictor of how they'll play in the regular season.

In our league, Ryan went at the tail end of Rd 5, and Brady mid-round 6.

Damn that's early. That's what sucks about having almost two whole rounds between your picks. You just see them all drop off the board and can't do anything about it.

Luck was still available in the 4th round of a 10 team league but I imagine he's gone by th 4th in a 12-14 team league.

Yeah he usually goes mid 4th in the 12 team mock drafts. I waited until my 8/9 pick in my most recent mock draft and ended up with Romo with Flacco backing him up. I think I have to pull the trigger at the end of the 7th to get anyone better.

I just Mocked this team starting with the #1 Pick:

QB: Romo (#96)
RB1: Mccoy (#1)
RB2: Gore (#48)
WR1: Nelson (#24)
WR2: A Brown (#25)
TE: Witten (#73)
Def: Bills (#145)
K: Henery (#192)
WR3: Wright (#72)
WR4: Nicks (#121)
WR5: Wheaton (#144)
RB3: T Richardson (#49)
RB4: D Williams (#97)
RB5: M Ingram (#120)
QB2: Flacco (#168)
TE2: Gates (#169)

I feel pretty good about that, though shaky with Romo

Ten team, standard league. 1st pick

1) LeSean Mcoy
2)Zach Stacy
3)Brandon Marshall
4)DeSean Jackson
5)Victor Cruz
6)Nick Foles
7) Joique Bell
8) Bernard Pierce
9) Cecil Shorts
10) Steven Ridley
11) Knowshon Moreno
12) Jordan Cameron (keeper from last year)
13) Stephen Gostkowski
14) Rams Defence
15) Jonathon Stewart
16) Johnny Manziel (Mr. Irrelevant)

Yahoo gave me the "Best Draft" trophy; but that can be taken with a grain of salt since you can get that simply by drafting the highest available every time you're up.

Good team. I'm wrestling with taking a 2nd RB or two WRs with the 2nd and 3rd picks. You got a lot of value with WRs at 4 and 5 though.
Jordan Cameron in the 12th is awesome value. Is that just where you picked him last year then?
