An interesting debate: 2004 vs 2014 Cyclones

I came across this article here at Clones Confidential earlier today and it sparked a discussion between a few of my buddies. The parallels are certainly there, but the 2003 team finished on a 10 game losing streak, where as the 2013 team won the last two games giving them momentum in the off-season.

The 2004 team had to come from behind to beat Northern Illinois at home, Baylor (3-8), and KSU (4-7). Smoke and mirrors, and a tremendous reliance on the defense to save the day.
