He never finds second or third reads even on a screen that is clearly covered. Didn't even loook at Bibbs.

Sure a lot of the poor play can be blamed on teammates but you have to make a play here and there and he didn't once the game went south I think after the 14 point lead he had 1 decent scramble for about 15 and that was it nothing other than a couple short passes. Just brutal.

Troll,

He had no time to look for anyone. No ground support.

I'm not convinced that Sam is very good, but there weren't exactly guys getting open for him to throw to.

Nobody wearing cardinal and gold today made any case for being "good". At least no decisions on game ball for player A versus player B, just no game balls at all.

THE NEW IOWASTATE FIGHT SONG
Oh, we will takeflight, flight, flight for Iowa State
And may her colors never fly.
Oh, we will shiver with fright for Iowa State
With the will to do or cry!
Ha, Ha, Ha
Loyal sons forever blue
And we will dodge the battle too.
And when we miss the line we will miss it far,
nary a yard for I-S-U!

I think when Farniok went down they lost their vocal leader and of course the best lineman on the field. He was getting to the second and third level of blocking when he was in and brings a nastiness to this team.

Unfortunately on the way home I was thinking we should have better players on defense and that falls on CPR. Those linebackers looked absolutely lost out there. The front seven just isn't very good.

Dagel put a hand on the D-Lineman, got spun, and stood there while his QB got rushed and sacked. Nice work there.

He got it handed to him the whole game right along with the rest of the line. NDSU consistently got to SR even when they only brought 4 yet we couldn't get pressure no matter what we broight. How the hell can we still be this bad in the trenches?

You just don't understand football. Sam was only person making something happen. Few and far between. But still the only one.

LOL, everyone who disagrees with you even mildly is either a troll or doesn't get football.

Bright spot? We must've watched a different game.

If you really think Richardson was why we lost this game, I have no idea what you were watching. We got our ***** beat from top to bottom. Sam made some nice throws as well as some bad ones and had a few nice runs. He was far from terrible but we were pathetic as a team and that's all that matters.

Truth. And do not know. Pathetic display up front.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? That 5 yard pass short of the first down line IS the 3rd option.

Guys stop...the game..every game is won in the trenches and our trenches have been bad under CPR. When they were good was early with chizik recruits. CPR has not been able to recruit and develop trenches in the last 3-4 years and it has caught up. Oh btw, we will get punked by WV this year they are lookin good against bama. I see a 1-2 win season.

This team is a bunch of softies, and worse yet, they appear to not know what they are doing. They haven't for 6 years on the line.

The defense missed assignments too, but the LBs will learn. As will the safeties. Before the game you knew we would give up big plays due to mistakes. CPR will never have a strong offense though.

Did I say he was the reason we lost? No, I didn't dip****. I just don't think he played that well today, hence me disagreeing that he was a bright spot.

This shouldn't matter. Its a TEAM game. Lose one leader, someone else needs to step up and be the leader.
