I'll do ya one better. I got Forte and Graham.

Sorry, but it's always funny when guys throw out stuff like this as if they're some FF drafting genius. No. You're drafting against morons, that's it.

Not saying you're doing this. But I listen to XM 87 and hear guys call in basically bragging about all the top 15 guys they got. Yeah, congrats. You're playing against idiots.

Kaepernick went 9th, Seahawks D went top 45, most QBs went top 50 in the league I just did, so yeah, I do agree with you.

Drafted in my yahoo league yesterday. It's a twelve team PPR league. First of all, yahoo's draft page layout was way too busy. I'm the commissioner and I took four calls or texts asking me how to actually select a player. Anyhow, here's the team I drafted.

1.(10)Jimmy Graham (NO - TE)
2.(15)Brandon Marshall (Chi - WR)
3.(34)Alfred Morris (Was - RB)
4.(39)Julius Thomas (Den - TE)
5.(58)Michael Floyd (Ari - WR)
6.(63)Matthew Stafford (Det - QB)
7.(82)Bishop Sankey (Ten - RB)
8.(87)Philip Rivers (SD - QB)
9.(106)Pierre Thomas (NO - RB)
10.(111)Darren Sproles (Phi - RB)
11.(130)Mark Ingram (NO - RB)
12.(135)DeAndre Hopkins (Hou - WR)
13.(154)Hakeem Nicks (Ind - WR)
14.(159)Jarrett Boykin (GB - WR)
15.(178)Jonathan Stewart (Car - RB)
16.(183)Greg Zuerlein (StL - K)
Afterwards I dropped Hakeem Nicks for the Jets defense. I'll just play matchups on the waiver wire all season with the D. I probably reached on Alfred Morris but other than that I feel good how it worked out. I can use the Graham/Thomas combo at TE/Flex positions.

Please send me an invite to that league next year. Kaepernick 9th OVERALL? He went 46th in our draft and I thought it was a serious reach at that point. He could have been picked up in the 6th or 7th round in our league.

Yup that's how you play defenses. Last year for half the season I used the team playing the Jaguars.

The only problem being that f you are in the top of the league you are at the end of the waiver wire. I rarely ended up getting something useful off the wire because I was in the Top 2 for most of the year and everyone else snagged all the things I wanted before I had a shot at them.

It was a girl who is a 9ers fan. Other than that, most picks were kinda reasonable.

Yeah I'm definitely not bragging about it. And the guys I drafted with weren't really idiots. It's not unheard of to have Graham fall to me at #15.

Yep, I didn't mean to suggest you were. I was just driving home and some guy called in and in a 12-team league he said he ended up with LeSean McCoy, Calvin Johnson, and Julio Jones, and it's not a keeper league. Joke. Jimmy's ADP is 8, so dropping to 15 isn't unheard of but would very much be out of the norm. Obviously more likely in non-PPR.

Did our 12-team PPR draft today. We draft 2 qb, 4 rb, 4 wr, 2 te, 2 k, 2 D and start 1 qb, 2rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 1 k, and 1 D. The 1st two rounds are conventional snake, then the rest of the rounds are already set, but you draft in a different spot.

QB: Cutler, Eli Manning
RB: Jamal Charles, Le'Veon Bell, Joique Bell, DeAngelo Williams
WR: Alshon Jeffrey, Vincent Jackson, Cordarrelle Patterson, Markus Wheaton
TE: Jordan Reed, Jared Cook
K: Justin Tucker, Phil Dawson
D: TB and Miami

I had pick #5

I could see Jimmy Graham dropping a bit in leagues where the players are all good managers, because Jimmy's TD numbers are probably gonna regress a bit, and there are some interesting TE options late.

This may be a dumb move and/or a **** move, but unless there's a lottery ticket RB or WR I like, I don't hesitate to hold a one or two nice future streaming defenses I like on my bench. Nobody should be able to stream defenses THAT easily.

I agree that there are some good TE options out there. But why do you think Jimmy's TD numbers are going to regress?

To be honest, it's just that his last 3 seasons have gone 11, 9, 16 with a similar amount of receptions each year. I suppose he could go back to 12 or 13 and still be worthy of a first rounder though.
