Charles went 5th on ours as well. Our order was McCoy, Manning, Rodgers (WTF?), Peterson, Charles.
I have my last draft tonight and am seeking wisdom... 20 team league with the ability to start two QB's. I have pick 19 and 22 and will be most likely going back to back QB in the first two rounds. Who would you take of the guys who will most likely be there at that point? Stafford, Luck, Newton, Wilson???
Wow with that set up, you almost have to take qb/qb in the first 2 rounds. If you're pick #19 there is no way in hell those qb's will still be available.
That's how I think going into it, but people are suckers for the standard rankings of the mothership. I know Peyton Brees and Rodgers will be gone, but it varies after that. May even have to look for lower guys like Brady, Romo, Cutler.
Well last year I was able to get Peyton and Brady (not knowing the down year) at pick 20 and 21.
Wow, that doesn't make any sense to me. Well maybe you'll end up better than I thought.
I have the second pick in my keeper league in an hour. I'm keeping McCoy and going to load up on WR's after that. Should I go with AJ Green or Dez?
One of my leagues is kinda weird, and in it every QB is used (8 team league with 4 starting QBs per roster). I waited forever to take QBs and loaded up on flex players - we also have lots of roster spots for them - and ended up with Geno Smith, Shaun Hill, Chad Henne (who I'll replace with Blake Bortles when he's named starter), and Derek Carr. This will be interesting.
Dez has the better QB, but Green may have less talent around him. Dont think you can go wrong either way.
Agreed. But I'd go Dez. Dallas' defense is going to be horrible. They'll be coming from behind a lot which means good junk time receiving production/stats.
Agreed. And it sounds like the new Cincy OC is going to try to run the ball a bit more than previous years. Green is excellent but if you have a shot at Bryant at the same time, I'd go with him over Green.
Quick, which QB-WR combo do you guys like more. Kaepernick-Davis, Wilson-Harvin or RGIII-Garcon?
If it were me I'd take the Seahawks pair there. RG3 = china doll. None are that good though.
Those were three WR's and TE's I already had on my roster though. I decided to pass on all 3.
Same here, I decided to wait to see if I could get Wilson with my next pick though.
