Jordy Nelson doesn't strike me as a "matchup proof" player that will get his numbers no matter who he plays. I am not sure I'd play anyone against the Seahawks defense unless I had a really terrible bench player behind him. With the Thursday night game in Seattle where they are likely hanging a Super Bowl banner I think I'd avoid an opponent going against that. That's just me.
Agreed. If he drops a 3.5 in week 1, so be it.A little biased are we? Didn't Jordy go to Kstate?
With week 1, there is no need to over think it. Roll with your studs, and evaluate from there.

Demaryius had 13 catches for 118 and a TD against Seattle last year. Cecil Shorts had 8 for 143. Andre Johnson had 9 for 110. Hilton had 5 for 140 and 2 TDs. Boldin had 6 for 93. Colston had 11 for 144 and a TD.
Everyone has their own philosophy, and Seattle's D is definitely tough. But it's easy to overthink your way into a bad decision. I'd feel pretty dumb if Jordy Nelson scores 20+ against Seattle while sitting on my bench in favor of Mike Wallace.
What about Cobb?
Im currently starting Sanders over him
I'm fairly certain I'm going with Nelson and Patterson. Thanks for the input.
Trying to decide on my Flex this week. Between Torrey Smith, Joique Bell, Ryan Matthews, and Darren Sproles. Rushes get 0.5 pts per and 1 pt per 10 yards gained. Receptions count as 1 pt with 1 pt per 10 yards. Both set at 6 pts per TD. If anyone feels like giving this some honest thought, or pointing out that it's obviously a no brainer and I'm an idiot it would be appreciated!

I'd go with Mathews as well. I prefer having rbs over wrs in the flex spot and he's a starter.Trying to decide on my Flex this week. Gates or Ertz?
They also said Gates would give me a better chance of winning. So I dont know what to believe.
Antonio Gates a big obstacle for Ladarius Green
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(September 3, 2014 1:21 PM EDT) Ladarius Green, who caught three touchdowns in the final six games last year, is the Chargers' tight end of the future. But Antonio Gates is still the starter. Judging by their usage in August, coaches remain more comfortable with Gates in single-tight end sets.In the 28 preseason snaps played by quarterback Philip Rivers, Gates played 26 and Green 13. In the dress rehearsal game, Gates caught all three of his targets for 28 yards and a touchdown. Green caught one of three targets for 5 yards.
Gates is 34, but he's healthy and in terrific shape. Until he breaks down, Green is not going to be playable in standard leagues.
The Chargers open the season Monday night in Arizona. It's a wonderful matchup, as the Cardinals allowed a league-high 13.3 Fantasy points per game to tight ends last year. Consider Gates a borderline TE1 for Week 1.
