Five spots isn't that far. Clemson took the #1 team in the nation into OT, on the road, and dropped six. Sure, FSU was without Winston, but dropping five spots seems about right.

I disagree, they were already ranked 15 spots below Auburn, so they were expected to lose. And they only lost because of a couple missed field goals. If they were the #20 team in the country before that game (which I'm not totally sold on, but that's a separate issue) then they didn't do anything to show they weren't the #20 team in the country during that game.

Ms State should be in top 10. They could be a contender in the SEC. Although they almost blew that lead, the fluke snap over the QB's head was by their 2nd string center.

Lol. Just because you beat an SEC team (that was way overrated to begin with) does not means you jump into top ten.

You fit the SEC/ESPN propaganda machine though.

Jesus. Another crackpot. I am a Big 12 fan from the Big 8 days. I know a good team when I see it, and MS State is much improved athletically, no matter what conference they play in. Maybe you shouldn't comment on someone fitting into an MO unless you know the person who has an opinion.

Well, they didn't win, for starters.

I guess I'd scratch my head a little more if the teams that leapfrogged them didn't have excellent weeks, but I just don't see dropping from #20 to #25 as an insult to KSU.

MS State is not a top ten team.
