Which team is ISU in this situation?

Some parallels here. Unranked team at home playing a high-powered offense with a Heisman candidate, and the highly ranked team has had issues in the past playing at that stadium.

Looks like FSU has figured it out but I was just saying that if ISU is up 24-7 at any point tonight I will probably not be physically able to watch the rest of the game

CW says West is questionable and confirms Medders is out.

So our WRs are:

Daley
Lazard
Ecby
Montgomery
Lawry
West (game-time decision)

West should play unless it's recurring concussion symptoms. They said he was fine right after the Iowa game. Hopefully just some gamesmanship.

And Bibbs. I know he's a tight end, but he's dangerous enough to take pressure off our thin receivers at least, and can like up in the slot.

So gamblers, help someone who's never bet on sports in his life. If I put 50 bucks on ISU to cover at +21.5, how much do I win? Money is at +1025, whatever that means.

If you bet ISU to cover and they do, you win "almost" what you bet. Assuming its -110 on the spread, you will win $45.45 on a $50 bet.
If you bet the moneyline and for ISU to win outright, you would win $10.25 for every $1 you bet.

If you bet on the spread (i.e. ISU +21.5), then you'll win whatever you bet. So if Baylor wins by 21 points or less, or Iowa State wins by any score, it'll payout a $50 win on top of recovering your $50 wager ($100 total).

The moneyline is a bet on who will win the game flat out. + means the team is the underdog, and - the favorite (just like a spread).

+[number] means that a bet of $100 will win [number].

-[number] means that a bet of [number] will win $100.

So in this case, if you bet on Iowa State with a moneyline of +1025, a bet of $100 would payout a $1,025 win plus a $100 wager recovery ($1,125 total). I've seen that Baylor is -1800 at the book I was looking at earlier, which would mean that a bet of $180 would net you just $190 after the game if Baylor was to win.

So if I bet the moneyline, I'll likely lose my 50, but could win close to 600 when including my 50 recovery?

So if you bet $50 on Iowa State to win at ISU +1025, you would get paid $562.50 after the game if Iowa State won (including the return of your wager).

And if they lost, you'd never see that $50 again.
