not to bag on a high school kid, but when you are still looking for a place to play college ball, you may want to consider a different reaction when someone stops recruiting you.

They didn't stop recruiting him, he was visiting there next weekend and was one of their two top targets

So 2 of our guys get suspensions for OWIs and don't go to jail, but the guy who does go to jail doesn't get in any extra trouble? Seems legit.

The kids DNP number was higher than his PPG. From an outside perspective, who gives a **** if he plays or not.

Regardless of what games it is, to make a student miss games that he is on scholarship to play is a much bigger punishment than doing nothing. Plus Jok did break the laws twice and still hasn't received any punishment. Man that program in Iowa City is a joke.

Hey now, he had to miss summer practices. That right there is punishment.

That's the part that is so confusing to me. The Iowa fans in this thread keep saying "well, he did go to jail". Fran did not send Jok to jail. Fran has not done **** about Jok's legal troubles in the context of the basketball program. Like others pointed out, 2-3 games seems pretty standard around division 1 for this type of thing, so it does seem odd that he's not getting anything.

So Iowa sets up an *official* visit with a kid and then at the last minute decides to stop recruiting them and cancel the visit? Is that your claim?

Hearing fran has reconsidered and now is suspending Jok from mopeds for three games.

Well yeah. Of course. And that is doing things the right way (along with drinking and mopedding).
